Before you start
Make sure that the power at the circuit breaker is off before wiring.
If a neutral Wire is required, please confirm the wall box contains a Neutral Wire (typically white). If the wall box doesn’t have a Neutral Wire, call a professional electrician to install the switch or try our light switches with no neutral wire required here.
The wire colors indicated in this manual are the usual colors and may be different in some houses.
Ensure the wire conductors are fastened securely to each wire.
Ensure the WIFI signal is steady and normally working before wiring.
If you don’t have any wiring experience, please call a professional electrician.

To install the Smart Light switch please follow these steps:
- Remove the existing wall plate, and use an electrical testing tool to check which wire is the line wire, the testing tool will flash when it comes close to a line wire.
- Turn off the power at the circuit breaker and use the electrical testing tool if the power is off, and then pull the existing switch wires out, make sure to label the line wire and other wires for easier re-installation
- Follow the wiring diagram to connect the switch wires to the wires in the wall box with the wire conductors.
- Mount the switch with the provided screws and snap the wall plate on it
- Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker and then switch the light on.
Follow these steps to connect your Smart Light Switch
1: Download the Smart Life App
- Scan the QR code to download the “Smart Life” App from the App Store or Google Play.
2: Registration or login
- If you need to signup for an account press the registration button “Register” and then follow the instructions to create an account
- If you already have an account then proceed to add a new device by clicking the “+” icon on the top right section of the app
3: Configure the device and get it ready to connect
Preparation: Make sure the device is plugged into electricity and your phone is connected to a 2.4Ghz network.
Note: this device only supports 2.4G networks. If you have a 5G network, please disconnect the 5G network so it reverts to 2.4Ghz.
- Tap the “+” icon at the top right corner to start adding a device.
- Select the “Electrical” menu from the left side menu.
- Choose Switch (WIFI) as the device type.
- Press and hold any of the light switch buttons for at least 5 seconds until the light indicator starts blinking rapidly.
- Input your WIFI Network and Password.
- Select the option “Confirm the indicator is blinking rapidly” and tap next.
- Once the device is linked and connected you will be able to change its name to whatever suits you and then you can start controlling your light switches remotely
