Part l: Download & Registration

  • Scan the QR code to download the “Smart Life” App from App Store or Google Play.
  • Launch the Smart Life App and follow the in-app instructions to register an account and connect the Smart Plug to your 2.4 GHz WIFI home network. You will be asked to provide your email or phone number during account registration in order to receive a verification code.

Part 2: Easy Mode (Recommended)

  • Long-press the On/Off button for 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly. This indicates the Smart Plug is ready to be connected to the “smart life app” interface.
  • Make sure your phone is connected to WIFI (2.4GHz ONLY) and has access to the internet.
  • Tap the “+” icon at the top right corner to start adding a device.
  • Select Sensors from the left menu and then from the right menu select Sensor (WIFI)
  • Press and hold the reset button for at least 5 seconds until the light indicator starts blinking rapidly
  • Input your WIFI Network and Password.
  • Select the option “Confirm the indicator is blinking rapidly” and tap next.
  • Once the device is linked and connected you will be able to change its name to whatever suits you and then you can start using it

Part 3: AP Mode (Access Point)

  • If the setup fails in EZ mode, try using the AP mode from the failed screen, or tap the “+” icon at the top right corner of “Smart Life App”. add the specific device and click “AP Mode” at the top right corner.
  • Make sure the light is flashing rapidly and then Long press the On/Off button until the indicator light slowly flashes, then tap the related button in the application, enter into another interface. Tap “Next”. Go to “Connect now”, choose a Wi-Fi hotspot named “SmartLife-XXXX”, then back to the “Smart Life” application.
  • Wait for a successful connection. Then tap “Done”.
  • You can rename the smart power plug by tapping the icon in the middle of the screen.
